Captain Ken Salos of Fin and Feather inshore guide service offers many different Tampa Bay fishing charters and will provide all tackle, outfits (rods and reels) needed for the style of fishing you will be doing. Live bait, fishing licenses, ice, water and safety equipment. For duck hunting trips, you will need your Florida hunting license and your Federal migratory duck stamp. When fishing with Fin and Feather, you will be provided with top shelf rods and reels that you would want to fish with on your own boat or expect to fish with at any other high-end outfitter.
I highly recommend wearing polarized sunglasses for my anglers who will be fly fishing and site casting fish with artificial and live bait. I usually have a bottle of sunscreen in the boat, but please pack a bottle as this is not something I offer. Snacks and drinks are the only other items I do not provide. My boat has two built in coolers, so all items can be transferred to keep the deck clear! Alcoholic beverages are permitted as well!
East Cape Vantage – Inshore
Half day Tampa Bay inshore fishing charter
- When booking a Tampa Bay inshore fishing charter with Fin & Feather, you will be targeting Redfish, Snook and Trout. While there are many other species in the Tampa Bay, these are just our most popular and will provide you with the greatest action!
Half day Tampa Bay fly fishing charter
- While on a Tampa Bay fly fishing charter, Snook and Redfish will be the primary targeted species. This is a fly fishing only charter with no live bait on the boat, but I will keep several spin fish outfits set up with various artificial baits as a back up. This is one of the most technical fishing charters we have to offer but can result into one of the most rewarding days of fishing you may ever have. With one of the quietest boats on the market, you will be guided to fish that are as close as an arms length away. Do not be discouraged if you are a beginner fly fisherman. I love to instruct and teach, even though this is a half day trip I like to take my time on these charters and very rarely do I watch the clock.
6 hour Tampa Bay inshore fishing charter
- The six hour Tampa Bay inshore fishing charter gives you a little more time on the water to mix things up. During the fall, my customers really enjoy targeting Triple Tail on the Gulf side of the Tampa Bay. These fish can be targeted on the half day trips, but I prefer to mix them in on a six hour. We also may see Cobia on the beach, site cast Snook in the surf and target Permit in the summer months. This is a great fishing charter to pick if you are looking to catch more species of fish!
Tampa Bay Tarpon fishing Charter
- Our Tampa Bay Tarpon fishing charter caters to fly fisherman and anglers who want to catch Tarpon on live bait or artificial baits. This is a full day Tampa Bay Tarpon fishing charter. The Tampa Bay has what I think is one of the best visual Tarpon fisheries on the west coast of Florida. I start fishing for Tarpon in May and usually can still find them in the early months of Fall. We will be primarily targeting Tarpon, but in the circumstance they do not show up or the bite is slow, I will move on to Permit and Snook fishing to bend the rods and create action.
